Job Summary
We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented eCommerce Administrator to lead and manage our eCommerce platform, the critical interface connecting our Dealers/Customers with our Data and Connectivity team. This role is pivotal in ensuring the platform operates seamlessly, facilitates all online transactions, and drives innovation aligned with our business objectives. The ideal candidate will take ownership of the platform’s development lifecycle, oversee the validation and deployment of new features, and collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to deliver results. With a strategic mindset and hands-on approach, you’ll ensure the platform meets content and performance standards, remains scalable, and consistently aligns with the company’s goals.
Key Departmental Responsibilities
- Develop, maintain, and analyze eCommerce site metrics and analytics by establishing both key metrics and dashboards which includes setting up reporting dashboards, monthly reporting, conversion goals and search behavior analysis.
- Create and optimize relevant content to improve visitor experience and searchability, including managing keywords, landing page content, backlinks, and site loading speed.
- Support the transfer and optimization of new product data, ensuring alignment with eCommerce standards (e.g., product naming, marketing descriptions, images, technical specs, promotions, and product placement).
- Test and validate all new development functionality prior to deployment, ensuring adherence to the roadmap strategies.
- Develop and manage tagging initiatives, leveraging best practices to accurately measure behavior events and digital marketing performance.
- Support and provide strategic direction for the eCommerce platform’s roadmap.
- Collaborate with functional leaders, outside consultants, and IT to execute eCommerce roadmap initiatives.
- Develop and maintain standard work instructions, processes, and training materials for the eCommerce platform.
- Develop and maintain eCommerce standard work instructions/processes and training materials.
- Assist other employees both in and out of the department.
- Provide feedback on system needs/changes.
- Perform other related duties and assignments as required.
Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Management, Computer Science or related field.
- Three (3) or more years of relevant experience.
- Experience with aftermarket or B2B eCommerce platforms.
- Strong understanding of eCommerce systems and website functionality.
- Experience in setting up and optimizing Google Analytics (GA4)
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills with cross-functional teams.
- Proven track record of successfully launching and managing digital commerce products or platforms, preferably in a B2B or B2C environment with Saas-related products.
- Proficiency in data analysis and using data-driven insights to drive decision-making and product enhancements.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
