What are the responsibilities and job description for the Receptionist/Administrative Assistant position at Allied Addiction Recovery, LLC?
This position primarily works in the Washington location with occasional coverage in other offices. Position includes some early evenings and very occasional Sundays if coverage is needed for vacations, etc.
Applicants with recent experience in insurance verification and/or basic medical billing are given priority.
This position can be full time with the following schedule and includes benefits:
Work schedule:
Monday: 10 am - 7 pm
Tuesday: 9 am - 3 pm
Wednesday: 10 am - 7 pm
Thursday: 9 am - 7 pm
Friday: 8 am - 4 pm
If an applicant is interested in part-time, the position does not include benefits and the schedule is as follows:
Monday: 10 am - 6:30 pm
Tuesday: Off
Wednesday: 10 am - 6:30 pm
Thursday: 1 pm - 6:30 pm
Friday: 8 am - 12:30 pm.
Medical administrative assistant/receptionist with some medical office experience needed to check clients in, schedule appointments, answer phones, check insurance benefits via phone or online, obtain pre-authorizations, collect payments (copays, coinsurance, etc.) and conduct office functions such as copying, filing, chart management, supplies, etc. These duties are not inclusive and will include other tasks.
Skills and Qualifications:
Ideal candidate has some knowledge of verifying medical benefits. Is skilled at multi-tasking and follow-through and can problem solve and work independently with good communication skills. Candidate should have good customer service skills, time management ability, must work well with others, be organized, ability to pay attention to detail, computer knowledge using Excel, Outlook, Word and be able to conduct themselves with maturity and professionalism.
