Allied Maker is seeking a skilled Procurement Manager to join our team. As a Procurement Manager, you will be responsible for leading the procurement process, managing two buyers, and ensuring timely and cost-effective material acquisition.
Key Responsibilities:
- Procurement Strategy Development:
- Develop and implement procurement strategies to ensure timely acquisition of high-quality materials at competitive prices.
- Procurement Process Oversight:
- Oversee the entire procurement process, from supplier selection and negotiation to purchase order creation and delivery.
- Buyer Management:
- Manage and mentor two buyers, providing guidance and support to optimize their performance.
- Supplier Relationship Management:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, negotiating favorable terms and conditions.
- Inventory Management Collaboration:
- Collaborate with inventory control and production teams to maintain optimal inventory levels and avoid shortages or overstock.
- Cost Control Analysis:
- Analyze and monitor procurement costs, identifying opportunities for cost savings and process improvements.
- NetSuite Utilization:
- Utilize NetSuite for procurement activities, including purchase order creation, tracking, and reporting.
- Compliance and Documentation:
- Ensure all procurement activities comply with company policies and procedures.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a Procurement Manager or in a similar role, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
- Strong proficiency with NetSuite is essential.
- Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
- Strong leadership and team management abilities.

- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
