Who we are looking for :
We are currently searching for a Customer Service Representative to be based out of Harvey, Illinois. Reporting to the Inside Sales Manager, this person will be responsible for handling all aspects of customer service and will work closely with customers and teammates within Atkore’s Mechanical business unit.
The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years’ customer service experience. Bachelor’s degree is preferred but not required.
What you'll do :
- Lead the overall productivity initiative strengthening year over year.
- Handle all aspects of customer service, including entering, tracking and invoicing orders and releasing material for shipment.
- Heavy communication (via email and telephone) with customer base to handle all orders, inquiries, and follow up in a prompt and professional manner.
- Assist in reviewing and controlling the finished goods inventory level.
- Complete invoices; process deductions; coordinate movement of raw material from fabrication to finished product.
- Interact with internal departments and outside processors as needed.
- Assist on projects as needed.
- Crosstrain into other desks for coverage.
- Assist customers in our customer portal with set up and navigating through the portal.
