Position Title : Sales Engineer

Location : Livonia / Plymouth, MI

Job Summary :

To support the growth and development of a precision machining company by identifying and securing new business opportunities. This position will work closely with the sales and operations teams to drive revenue growth and build strong customer relationships.

Job Responsibilities :

  • Identify and research potential clients and business opportunities within target markets
  • Develop and maintain a thorough understanding of products and effectively communicate their value to potential customers.
  • Conduct outreach to prospective customers through various channels, including phone calls, emails, and in-person meetings.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with new and existing customers, ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction.
  • Collaborate with all departments to develop and implement strategies for lead generation and sales growth.
  • Negotiate contracts and agreements to secure new business deals.
  • Track and report on sales activities and results, providing regular updates to leadership.
  • Manages to entire sales process, from initial contact to closing deals.
  • Ensures RFQ’s are responded to timely and that our offering meets customer requirements and company objectives.
  • Effectively communicates complex information clearly and professionally.

Requirements :

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proven experience in business development, sales, or related field in a manufacturing environment.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Proficiency with CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Strong negotiation and problem-solving skills.
  • Willingness to travel as needed to meet with clients and attend industry events.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude, familiarity with castings and CNC machining is a plus!
