What are the responsibilities and job description for the Plastic Extrusion Operator position at AllStaff?
3rd shift with OVERTIME AND WEEKLY PAY!
4 days per week : Mon - Thurs - 12 hours shift = 48 hours (Take Friday, Saturday and Sunday off!)
Essential Accountability's :
- Maintain cleanliness of extrusion line equipment by removing dust and liquids off the machines, cleaning the vacuum hoses and bags.
- Preparing the work area for upcoming projects.
- Stringing up the plastic through the extrusion line and collect material in rolls and sheets.
- Assisting operator in pulling the rolls of plastic off of the spindles and help to prepare the spindles for the next roll by putting on cores and taping the cores
- Accurately boxing, labeling and taping plastic rolls and sheets
- Building boxes on a skid to the requested order or height.
- Operation forklift for moving materials during production and for line setup.
- Ensuring chemicals and regrind are stocked and ready to use as requested by the operator
- Contribute to creating a positive workspace by maintaining a clean and organized area.
- Other duties and assignments as required.
Must have manufacturing experience and be mechanically inclined!
