AllSTEM Connections is looking for a talented Mechanical Design Engineer / Senior Design Engineer with one of our prestigious client based out at Houston, TX . Our client offers an environmentally safe, chemical-free fire protection system for Aviation Industry.

Experience - 4 Years
Someone who has worked within a design team, enjoy the most recent software packages, managed deadlines / equipment design / project design

Responsibilities
Design and standardize parts and assemblies in Autodesk Inventor 3D modeling software
Produce shop drawings and Bill of Materials for production and procurement
Prototype and test designed parts before standardizing the parts and assemblies for manufacturing
Take on or be part of any other technical / engineering project needed to progress our goals
Building assemblies, equipment design, tool design, heavy design is a huge plus, enjoys testing products
Manage multiple complex projects at the same time
Ensure our designs meet manufacturing, technical and customer requirements
Ensure that all design projects are completed within budget and time
Qualifications / Skills
Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience in Mechanical Engineering or relevant technical degree
High proficiency in 3D modeling Autodesk Inventor or SolidWorks
Strong organizational and communication skills
Flexibility to be prepared to travel at least 1-2 weeks each quarter as we typically install our system at our client's sites all over the US.
