Key Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain multiple customer environments effectively.
- Work 40 hours weekly, adhering to internal policies for ticket management.
- Identify and escalate high-priority issues for crisis resolution.
- Provide exceptional customer service via phone and email.
- Collaborate across teams and divisions to resolve customer issues efficiently.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues with internal/external resources, including engineers and project managers.
- Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction with timely problem resolution.
- Follow directions from senior engineers and be flexible for occasional travel to customer sites.
- High school diploma or GED with less than 2 years of experience, or 2 years of relevant experience without a diploma.
- Strong communication, presentation, and organizational skills.
- Basic knowledge of Microsoft Active Directory (e.g., password resets, security groups).
- Basic understanding of networking concepts (e.g., IP addresses, MAC addresses, Layer 1 vs. Layer 2).
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and general internet usage.
- Flexibility to work alternative days and shifts.
- Experience managing Fortigate and SD-WAN systems.
- Advanced networking knowledge (e.g., NAT, Subnet, VPN, Fortigate, vShield Edge).
- Experience in server performance monitoring.
- Familiarity with N-able monitoring tools.
- Background in a Managed Service Provider (MSP) environment.
- Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
