What are the responsibilities and job description for the Desktop Support Analyst position at Alpha Net Consulting LLC?
Key Responsibilities:
- Respond to user inquiries and provide timely technical support via phone, email, or in person
- Troubleshoot hardware, software, and basic network issues on desktops, laptops, printers, and other IT equipment
- Install, configure, and maintain operating systems and standard applications
- Set up new user accounts and ensure proper onboarding of IT resources
- Maintain accurate documentation of issues, solutions, and system configurations
- Escalate complex problems to higher-level support when necessary
- Assist with inventory management and tracking of IT assets
- Follow company IT policies, procedures, and security guidelines
Qualifications:
- Basic understanding of Windows or macOS environments
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office applications and common desktop software
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
- Customer-service orientation and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- A Certification or equivalent is a plus
Job Type: Contract
Pay: $16.00 - $16.50 per hour
Schedule:
