Stream, AlphaSense’s expert interview transcript library, is a new and transformative form of market intelligence content. Through transcripts covering thousands of companies, it captures the unfiltered views and insights of business operators in the trenches, interviewed by professional investors who drill into key questions on what’s truly important about a company at each moment in time. Stream’s library of over 30,000 transcripts is the market’s broadest, covering all sectors of the economy, with thousands more published each month. Stream is quickly becoming a table-stakes solution for institutional investors to choose the right companies to invest in, while gaining rapid adoption among all other consumers of market intelligence from sell-side research and banking, consultancies and large corporations.

Stream is a true hyper-growth business, having quadrupled its revenue in the past year, with significant scale in the 8 figures. The business is set to continue multiplying in size annually for the foreseeable future, leveraging AlphaSense’s 500 strong sales and marketing organization for distribution, and a similar product development organization that continues to rapidly innovate and enhance the product, expanding its market leadership. 

The Expert Experience Team handles all expert-facing communications; this includes initial Expert outreach, onboarding Experts to join the platform, customer service, and Expert payments. 

About the Role: 

The Onboarding Specialist Team sits within the Expert Experience team, and partners with all Expert facing teams. The team sits at the front line of our company’s prospect engagement and utilizes the dynamic personality of the team members in order to recruit Experts to join the platform. At our core, we are a dynamic team of highly driven self-starters who are passionate about the Stream product, speaking with highly intelligent Experts on a daily basis, and working to improve the Expert Experience. You will report to an Onboarding Specialist Team Leader, the Managers of Onboarding, and the Director of Expert Experience.

  • Have a start up mentality, ready to adapt to change, and ability to keep up in a remote work environment
  • Can self manage and work independently (while maintaining own calendar and schedule)
  • Collaborate with team members and leadership, and have a “can do” attitude while working with these internal stakeholders and teammates
  • Ability to work on PC or Mac, and can learn new software quickly (G-Suite, Salesforce, Slack)

What You’ll Do: 

• Complete 10-12 onboarding calls/day
  • Explain the value proposition of joining the Stream by AlphaSense platform
  • Interview Experts in order to vet their experience
• Compliance
  • Explain compliance restrictions to Expert as well as confirm Expert employment history/compliance
• Write “Vetting Statement”
  • Complete the Expert’s “vetting statement”/biography that is utilized on the Stream platform
  • Ensure all information is clear and correct, as it will be shared with all AlphaSense customers/stakeholders
  • Send additional notes about the Expert (whether they are a good fit, compliance red flags, etc.)
• Misc.
  •  Admin tasks
    • Additional email follow up with Experts
    • Working alongside other Expert Experience teams
    • Attend meetings (both Onboarding Specialist team and full company)
  • Multitasking
    
    • Ability to speak on phone and take notes at the same time

Base Compensation Range*:  $25 - $30 per hour

Additional Components: You may also be offered a performance-based bonus, equity, and a generous benefits program.

*For base compensation, we set standard ranges for all US-based roles based on function, level and geographic location, benchmarked against similar stage growth companies and internal comparables. In order to be compliant with local legislation, as well as to provide greater transparency to candidates, we share salary ranges on all job postings regardless of desired hiring location. Final offer amounts are determined by multiple factors including geographic location as well as candidate experience/expertise and may vary from the amounts listed above.
