We are looking for an IT Support professional to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing technical assistance to users, troubleshooting hardware and software issues, and managing user accounts. The ideal candidate will have excellent problem-solving skills, a strong understanding of IT systems, and the ability to communicate effectively with users. Our plan is for this to be a dual role. We've instituded a centralized services role and as a small company we all wear many hats. We'd like to find a canidate that is interested in moving in this direction while helping with the help desk. The centralized services role entails making sure client documentation is created and updated along with assuring that our full stack has been setup and configured with each client that qualifies. This posistion would also be responsible for checking over SOC alerts, backups, and monitoring alerts. The plan is to transition the canidate over to being centralized service full time as we grow.
Responsibilities:
- Troubleshoot hardware and software issues.
- Provide technical support to customers via phone, email, chat, or onsite.
- Install and configure computer systems and networks.
- Maintain and repair computer systems and networks.
- Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues.
- Set up user accounts and passwords.
- Maintain stack deployment
- Monitor Backups
- Monitor SOC/AV/EDR/RMM Alerts and create tickets for techs to follow up
Qualifications
- Strong technical support skills with a focus on software troubleshooting and computer management
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and desktop support
- Experience with computer networking, VPN, and Wi-Fi
- Familiarity with Active Directory and GPO for system management
- Knowledge of Windows OS and relevant IT support practices
- Ability to work effectively in a dynamic IT environment
- 2 years of Business IT experience
