Job Description
The Environmental Services Worker role is responsible for maintaining a safe and clean environment for clients and employees by performing general cleaning and laundry duties. This position requires adherence to safety procedures when handling or cleaning potentially hazardous materials and exposure to dangerous equipment.
Responsibilities
- Maintain facility cleanliness and prevent infection by washing, cleaning, and replacing equipment and furnishings.
- Clean common areas, patios, restrooms, client rooms, and offices to high standards.
- Ensure that Environmental Services equipment and supply rooms are organized and kept in good condition.
Requirements
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual who is able to work independently and as part of a team. The ideal candidate will have previous experience in a related field and be familiar with infection control procedures.
Education: High school diploma or equivalent required. Experience: One year of experience in a related field preferred. Licenses/Certifications: Valid driver's license required. Bilingual skills preferred.
