The ORGANIZATION
Alta California Regional Center (ACRC) is a non-profit agency under contract to the State of California and for 50 years has provided the coordination of services to individuals with developmental disabilities. ACRC employs approximately 700 individuals working out of eight offices in a ten-county area. ACRC is one of 21 Regional Centers in California.
COMPENSATION
The below is dependent upon experience and education.
- Fiscal Assistant III: $21.45 - $23.90
The actual amount offered within this range will depend on a variety of factors including skills and abilities, education, experience, and other relevant job-related factors. It is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for the role.
THE POSITION AND JOB SUMMARY
ACRC is seeking a Fiscal Assistant III to provide accounting and processing support for Purchase of Services (POS) claims so that Service Providers are paid timely and accurately for authorized services provided to Clients. This position is located in the Sacramento office (please note our Sacramento office location will be moving to Natomas in March 2025) and will Process Purchase of Service (POS) invoices, authorizations, and payments in a timely and accurate manner; enter all management-approved credit memos, voided checks, and adjustments into the UFS; provide support for audits by responding to requests and liaise with external auditors; perform advanced accounting functions; provide clerical and administrative support; and assist co-workers with special projects, unique problems, vacation and sick relief as required.

Requirements
JOB REQUIREMENTS AND QUALIFICATIONS
Must have strong working knowledge and experience in vendor invoice and encumbrance process and vendor management; be accurate and have a customer-service focus; knowledge of payables terminology; familiarity with general office equipment, procedures, and practices, ability to summarize, and analyze data. Good communication and basic math skills. Microsoft Outlook, Excel and Word skills. Applicants must possess a High School diploma or equivalent; four years of experience in office support to include experience in accounts payables, account reconciliation Must be flexible and open to teachable moments.
