Reporting to the Senior Director, Deputy General Counsel, the Legal Operations Project Manager will enhance the efficiency and impact of our legal department by driving key initiatives aligned with the Association of Corporate Counsel (ACC) Maturity Model, focusing on technology, vendor management, practice operations, and matter management.
What You'll Do
Driving Operational Excellence
Lead complex legal projects spanning multiple business units, including regulatory, environmental, litigation, and commercial transactions.
Implement and optimize legal technologies to streamline workflows and improve transparency.
Enhance vendor and firm management practices, optimizing costs, performance, and strategic alignment.
Strategic Leadership and Collaboration
Partner with internal and external stakeholders to align legal initiatives with organizational goals and priorities.
Foster a culture of operational excellence, providing training and guidance on project management principles.
Develop and monitor performance metrics, identifying opportunities for continuous improvement and delivering measurable outcomes.
Who You Are
Experienced Professional: You bring 5 years of experience in legal operations or project management, with a strong preference for experience in the energy or utilities sector. You hold a bachelor's degree in law, business administration, or a related field (JD or MBA preferred) and are familiar with the Association of Corporate Counsel (ACC) Maturity Model and its core components, including technology, vendor management, and matter management. A Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is an asset.
Tech-Savvy Leader: Proficient in project management tools (e.g., PowerBI, Microsoft Project, Asana) and relevant legal technologies, with a demonstrated ability to drive adoption and innovation.
Strategic Problem-Solver: Skilled at building relationships, aligning priorities, and identifying opportunities for improvement to deliver impactful results.
Credible and Adaptable: Known for maintaining confidentiality and handling sensitive information with discretion while navigating evolving priorities.

We offer a competitive salary range of $116,000 to $159,000 USD per year plus bonus, commensurate with experience, education, and skills. In addition, we provide a comprehensive total rewards package including health insurance, retirement plans and paid time off.
