Job Position : Customer Service Representative
Location : Chicago, IL 60601 (Work from home, may go in-office as needed)
Pay Rate : $16.20 / hour
Shift : Monday - Friday 8-5pm CST - 40 hours each week
Description :
POSITION SUMMARY : Position's purpose is to ensure that all assigned cases are worked in accordance to child support services policies and procedures along with the proper time frame.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES :
- Responds to telephone calls, written inquiries, within required timeframes.
- Assists customers in a courteous and professional manner.
- Ensures timely completion of priority referrals.
- Documents customer inquiry and resolution in appropriate computer systems.
- Forwards case-specific inquiries and issues to appropriate staff or unit, when necessary.
- Generate and forward forms and documents to customers, when necessary.
- Accurately completes necessary documentation and data entry activities in all systems.
- Maintains quality and compliance standards as stipulated by contractual obligation.
- Regularly communicates and updates supervisor / Sr. Administrators on case status and production
- issues.
- Maintains strict adherence to Child Support policies and procedures.
- Maintains confidentiality and security of case information.
- Meets all standards established for this position as outlined in the attached performance criteria.
- Performs other duties as may be assigned by management.
- Must be available and engaged online during working hours.
