C5662 IT Infrastructure Adminstr II

Position Overview:

We are looking for a motivated IT Infrastructure Administrator to join our team. The ideal candidate should have a foundational understanding of VMware, Windows, Linux, and storage solutions. In this role, you will be responsible for monitoring and maintaining our infrastructure, managing storage, and ensuring our systems are running efficiently. This position offers hands-on experience with various technologies and opportunities for growth.

Key Responsibilities:

• - Monitor VMware infrastructure to ensure high performance, availability, and security.
• - Perform server and storage updates and upgrades as needed.
• - Build and configure Windows and Linux operating systems.
• - Manage EMC storage, including capacity planning and troubleshooting.
• - Work with Client Synergy for server management and provisioning.
• - Assist with managing infrastructure platforms, including databases, Microsoft Enterprise Configuration Manager, and Intune.
• Handle incidents and request tickets in ServiceNow .
  
  

Requirements:

• - **VMware Infrastructure**: Basic knowledge of VMware environments, including monitoring, maintenance, and performing updates and upgrades.
• - **Windows Server Administration**: Experience with deploying, configuring, and maintaining Windows Server environments.
• - **Linux**: Experience with Linux server administration is a plus.
• - **EMC Storage Solutions**: Familiarity with EMC storage management, including allocation and maintenance.
• - **Client Synergy**: Experience working with Client Synergy for server management.
• - **Infrastructure Platforms** (bonus):
• Familiarity with databases (e.g., SQL Server, MySQL).
• Experience with Microsoft Endpoint Configuration Manager (MECM) and Intune.
  
  

Soft Skills:

• - **Communication**:
• Experience using ServiceNow or other ticketing systems to manage incidents and requests.
• Respond promptly to incidents, service requests, and team inquiries.
• Clearly document infrastructure changes, including updates, upgrades, and configurations.
• - **Teamwork and Initiative**:
• Ability to work collaboratively and take initiative to resolve issues or suggest improvements.
  
  

Certifications:

Relevant certifications (e.g., VMware Certified Professional, Microsoft Certified: Windows Server, CompTIA Linux ) are a plus but not required.
