Job Summary
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Caregiver to provide essential support to individuals in need of assistance in their daily lives. The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to enhancing the quality of life for our clients, whether they are residing in a group home, receiving long-term care, or in hospice care. This role requires physical strength, empathy, and the ability to follow care plans while ensuring compliance with HIPAA regulations.
Duties
- Assist clients with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- Provide meal preparation and ensure proper nutrition for clients.
- Help with mobility and transportation needs, including lifting and transferring clients safely.
- Monitor client health and report any changes or concerns to nursing staff or family members.
- Maintain a clean and safe environment for clients, adhering to health and safety standards.
- Support clients with medication management as directed by healthcare professionals.
- Engage clients in social activities to promote mental well-being and companionship.
- Document care provided and maintain accurate records in compliance with HIPAA guidelines.
Experience
- Previous experience in a caregiving role is preferred, especially in settings such as group homes or long-term care facilities.
- Knowledge of CPR and First Aid techniques is highly desirable.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting as needed for client transfers and mobility assistance.
- Familiarity with hospice care practices is a plus.
- A background in nursing or related healthcare fields is beneficial but not required.

- Our hiring process is fast and simple! Apply and if hired you will be scheduled for orientation at our branch. Once you have completed onboarding, orientation, and training, you can start working with clients!
- If you do not have a current HCA or CNA license, you will be required to enroll in our HCA training program we offer (due to state requirements). You will be able to complete the training while working and will have 120 days to complete it.
Requirements
- 18 years
- Ability to pass a state and national background check
- Valid driver’s license, auto insurance and clean driving record
- Ability to complete state-required caregiver/HCA training as needed
- Must be able to read/write/speak in English for documentation.
