Caregiver

Looking for backup caregivers to help when my live-in caregiver is on vacation or not available. I’m a 63-year-old working professional male that uses a manual wheelchair.

Drug and smoke free home. If you applied before, please apply again if you are interested. Ad will be active until the position is filled.

My needs are as follows. Alternating mornings (*Long days: I spend 2 hours by myself in the bathroom):

• M-F Long days* wake at 5:00 AM
• M-F Short days wake at 6:00 AM
• Sat & Sun Long days* wake at 6:00 AM
• Sat & Sun Short days wake at 7:00 AM
• Need afternoon/evening help as well.
• If helping while my live-in is on vacation, it would be great to have the person stay overnight (we would need to work out a daily rate of pay rather than hourly)

Need assistance with:

• Sitting up/lying down in bed
• Transferring into and out of my wheelchair and/or commode chair (I am only 150 lbs. and I am able to help with the transfers)
• Transferring into and out of shower every day
• Transferring into and out of bed every day
• Showering/washing/drying
• Getting dressed/undressed each day
• Working out with my home “gym” morning and late afternoon each day

Responsibilities:
