Position: Global Key Account Manager – Pharma / High-Tech

An established global freight forwarder is seeking an experienced Global Key Account Manager to join its team in Atlanta. This role focuses on high-profile accounts within the pharmaceutical or high-tech sectors and plays a critical role in maintaining and expanding long-term client relationships across international supply chains.
This position offers flexibility, autonomy, and the opportunity to lead account strategy across multiple regions and business units.
Key Responsibilities:
- Serve as the primary point of contact for strategic global accounts in the pharma or high-tech vertical
- Lead commercial discussions and ensure client expectations are met across all logistics services (air, ocean, warehousing, customs)
- Coordinate cross-functional teams across multiple regions to deliver seamless service and operational consistency
- Monitor account performance through KPIs, reporting, and regular business reviews
- Identify areas for service improvement, cost reduction, or added value to strengthen client relationships
- Support RFPs, contract renewals, and onboarding for new projects within assigned accounts
- Provide strategic guidance and act as a liaison between clients and internal global teams
- Ensure full compliance with industry and regulatory requirements
Qualifications:
- 5 years of experience in key account management within freight forwarding, logistics, or supply chain
- Proven track record managing international clients in pharma, high-tech, or similarly regulated industries
- Strong understanding of end-to-end logistics services, including air and ocean freight, customs, and warehousing
- Exceptional communication, presentation, and negotiation skills
- Ability to work cross-functionally and across multiple time zones
- Proficiency in CRM and logistics platforms; experience with SAP or CargoWise is a plus
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, or related field preferred

Salary : $110,000 - $140,000
