Altman Greenfield & Selvaggi is a fast-growing, boutique Accounting Firm, specializing in Business Management for entertainment clients, located in the heart of Union Square. We are currently seeking a Mailroom Clerk for the New York City office location. This role requires a high energy individual with strong interpersonal skills. Responsibilities:
- Screening, sorting, and scanning incoming mail and packages
- Logging incoming packages and notifying appropriate parties
- Posting outgoing mail, facilitating messenger requests and shipping requests via Fedex/UPS
- Daily bank and post office runs
- Shredding
- Taking inventory of office stock and stocking supply closets with new stock
- Back-up receptionist, as needed
Requirements:
- Minimum 2 years' experience in a corporate mail room; CPA/Law firm preferred
- Experience handling multi-line phone system is preferred
- Experience utilizing a scanner/copier
- Motivated, self-starter
- Organized and able to work in a fast-paced environment
- Able to multi-task and prioritize
- Terrific communication skills, both verbal and written
- Able to problem solve, thinking both creatively and logically
- Able to work in a team environment, as well as individually
- Ability to maintain confidentiality
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office and Microsoft Teams
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $35,000.00 - $45,000.00 per year
