We are seeking a Scientist II, Smokeable Design & Maintenance to join in Richmond, VA, or we are open to local remote work flexibility.
What you will be doing:
- Developing technical knowledge in smokeable product design and related FDA regulation to create new cigarette and cigar products for regulatory submissions, product maintenance assessment, or quality investigations.
- Developing and maintaining project records to ensure consistency and compliance to policy, procedure, regulatory reporting, FDA requirements, and project guidelines.
- Leading direct material inventory management, finished product retain management, and analytical sample request management for the team.
- Overseeing Alcohol and Tobacco Tax and Trade Bureau (TTB) and SAP movements for the team.
- Crafting and maintaining training material to share technical expertise across the organization to build organizational capability.
- Demonstrating leadership in modeling Altria values; demonstrating leadership in the understanding and application of Altria values at the department level.
What we want you to have:
- Bachelor's degree
- 1 years of experience in product and/or packaging design and maintenance
- 1 years of experience in SAP systems and MS Office suite
- Demonstrated ability to lead, coordinate and influence a cross functional group of professionals without authority.
- Demonstrated verbal and written communication skills are required. Have the ability to deliver effective formal presentations to cross functional partners.
