Job Description
The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) will provide direct patient care, document patient responses to nursing interventions, and modify the plan of care as needed. This role requires strong communication and teamwork skills, as well as the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple responsibilities.
Essential Functions
- Assist registered nurses or other licensed practitioners in identifying patient needs, prioritizing care, and setting goals based on patient characteristics.
- Document patient responses to nursing interventions and modify the plan of care as needed.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary team members to ensure quality and continuity of care.
Requirements
- Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) licensure from the Minnesota Board of Nursing prior to start date.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association within 90 days of start date.
