As a Customer Service Representative, you will play a critical role in supporting our customers with professionalism, accuracy, and a positive attitude. You’ll be the voice of our organization, ensuring customer needs are met efficiently while building meaningful relationships.
Key Responsibilities
- Customer Interaction: Serve as the primary point of contact for customer inquiries, providing timely and accurate information with a friendly demeanor.
- Order Management:
- Process price quotes, purchase orders, order adjustments, and cancellations.
- Use computer systems to access customer and inventory information, ensuring accuracy and reliability.
- Draft purchase orders and invoices, coordinating with the accounting department for seamless processing.
- Problem Resolution: Address and resolve customer concerns with professionalism, including returns, credits, and debits.
- Communication: Keep customers informed about pricing, delivery schedules, and order status.
- Account Updates: Maintain accurate records of customer accounts and orders, ensuring timely updates as changes occur.
- Team Collaboration: Confirm credit status with the finance department when required and ensure internal processes are followed.
- General Office Tasks: Answer phones and respond to emails with a positive attitude, maintaining excellent communication and organizational standards.
- Additional Duties: Perform other related tasks as assigned to support the team’s success.
Required Skills and Attributes
- Organizational Excellence: Exceptional attention to detail and the ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Interpersonal Skills: Strong communication skills (verbal and written) with the ability to build rapport and maintain excellent customer relations.
- Technical Proficiency:
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and general computer applications.

- Typing Speed: Ability to type 40-50 words per minute accurately.
- Problem-Solving Ability: Resourceful and solution-oriented, capable of handling challenges professionally.
Education and Experience
- Required: High school diploma or equivalent.
- Preferred: One year of experience in customer service, order processing, or a similar role.
Physical Requirements
- Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
- Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds occasionally.
