About Us:
Amarillo Industrial Repair is an industrial repair shop. We’re looking for a highly organized and proactive Administrative Assistant to support our team and ensure smooth day-to-day operations.
Responsibilities:
- Greet and assist clients, visitors, and team members professionally.
- Answer and direct phone calls in a courteous and efficient manner.
- Answer emails and respond to inquiries and complaints.
- Send emails on behalf of others and manage correspondence.
- Handle paperwork, including data entry, filing, and document organization.
- Open and manage new accounts.
- Schedule and coordinate meetings.
- Organize and clean the office to maintain a professional workspace.
- Order office supplies and maintain inventory.
- Coordinate catering for meetings and company events.
- Work within our system to process jobs and keep work moving efficiently.
- Prepare and send quotes for jobs.
- Provide general administrative support to ensure the office runs efficiently.
Qualifications:
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong typing skills.
- Exceptional time management and attention to detail.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and general office software.
- Previous administrative experience preferred.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
- Customer service experience is a plus.
- Ability to work independently and take initiative.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $14.00 - $16.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 – 50 per week
Schedule:
- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday
Work Location: In person
