Tesla is looking for a qualified Instrumentation & Controls Designer / Modeler to join our factory infrastructure engineering team in Austin, TX. You will play a pivotal role in the design of complex manufacturing facilities.
The role requires a highly organized mindset, a passion for driving multi-disciplinary projects, and an unparalleled ability to consistently perform at a high level.
Responsibilities :
- Perform design, drafting and 3D modeling using Revit for instrumentation and control systems
- Use National Electric Code to create designs in compliance with national codes
- Interface and collaborate with engineers from multiple disciplines, including understanding 3D coordination with those disciplines
- Create clash-free model with components to LOD400 and perform flythroughs for stakeholders using Navisworks
- Interface with construction trades and perform regular field walks to review installation progress and adherence to model
- Ability to multi-task, prioritize and work in an extremely fast-paced environment
