Technical Analyst IPTV

Position Summary

Mercedes-Benz Stadium (MBS) is hiring an Internet Protocol Television (IPTV) Technical Analyst that will focus primarily on operating and managing the IPTV system at MBS and remote locations. Reporting to the IPTV Manager, this position plays a critical role in maintaining the high standards of services across a large ecosystem of over 2,400 displays in the stadium and other locations. The IPTV system at MBS is a groundbreaking, custom-built platform that ranks among the largest implementations of its kind globally. This position will handle content programming, inventory management, system maintenance, and support for major events and private functions. The role will collaborate with multiple MBS departments including major/private events, game day event staff, and customizing content to meet system specifications. Based at MBS, the IPTV Technician must be available to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Roles And Responsibilities

• Event Support:
• Provide on-site support for private events, adhering to a pre-defined run of show.
• Provide on-site support for Atlanta Falcons and Atlanta United game/match days as required.
• Ensure displays for private events are functioning correctly and showing the requested content before the event begins. Collaborate with event coordinators to address and fulfill event needs.
• System Maintenance and Troubleshooting:
• Interface with MBS A/V technicians to ensure seamless integration between the IPTV and A/V systems.
• Assist the IPTV Manager in troubleshooting and repairing TVs and IPTV components throughout MBS.
• Content Management and Development:
• Work with the IPTV Manager to utilize the SQL-based content management system to create and modify television groupings as needed.
• Provide graphic design services and support to create and customize IPTV content to include Digital Menu Boards (DMB) that display food and beverage menus at over 100 locations throughout MBS.
  

Qualifications And Education Requirements

• Minimum of 2-3 years of relevant IPTV or digital content management work experience.
• Experience with SQL databases and queries and utilizing web-based IPTV and/or content management systems.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred, focusing in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related degree.
  
  

Required Skills

• Proficient in using Apple and Windows-based computers, tablets, and other devices.
• Strong understanding of Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, as well as Adobe After Effects, Photoshop, and Illustrator.
• Having a working knowledge of API’s and how they operate is preferred.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Ability to work under strict deadlines and in high-pressure environments.
• Must have a basic to intermediate level graphic design skills.
