We are currently seeking a Front Desk Supervisor who is passionate about providing exceptional service to our guests. As a Guest Services Representative, you will be responsible for ensuring that our guests have a comfortable and enjoyable stay while with us. Responsibilities:
- Greet all guests and visitors with a warm and welcoming smile while providing prompt attention and giving proper eye contact. - Be attentive and ready to assist guests and visitors who require aid or have questions at all times. - Register guests who have made advance reservations for lodging in an efficient and pleasant manner while meeting their needs. - Set up accurate accounts for each guest checking in according to their preferences such as room type and payment method. - Accommodate room changes for guests in a professional and timely manner. - Perform all duties towards the goal of maximizing guest service and satisfaction. Requirements:
- Must have a true desire to satisfy the needs and desires of our guests and others in a fast-paced environment. - Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while providing exceptional service. - Strong communication skills with a friendly and professional attitude. - Ability to handle guest complaints and resolve issues in a professional manner. - Must be able to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays. - Must be able to work efficiently and accurately with attention to detail. Requirements:- Ability to clearly and pleasantly communicate both verbally and in writing in English with guests, management and co-workers, both in person and by telephone.
- Strong customer-relation skills with a total commitment to guest satisfaction. Must be a "people-person" who thrives on public contact.
- Ability to deal with guests when they are angry or upset.
- Ability to supervise the front desk agents staff
- Professional appearance and mannerism.
- Knowledge of computer keyboard and printer operation. Ability to accurately and efficiently input information into computer systems.
- Previous cashier experience/basic accounting skills.
- Ability to work quickly and thoroughly when under pressure.
- Knowledge of hotel facilities and features.
- Ability to attend to more than one task at a time.
- Ability to maintain excellent attendance and punctuality.
- Knowledge of city and surrounding area
EXPERIENCE:
- Previous Front Desk and Customer Service experience.
- Opera or Lightspeed knowledge a plus
