Responsibilities
- Support families in crisis through our Family Habilitation Services, Visitation, and Housing programs.
- Provide transportation for parents and children to and from supervised visitation locations.
- Work directly with families in their homes, teaching and demonstrating homemaking skills, parenting skills, and utilizing effective resources.
- Observe interactions between parents and children during visits, redirecting as needed.
- Prepare written reports and maintain accurate records of client progress.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you must have:
- A high school diploma or equivalent.
- Associates degree or 2 years of child welfare experience preferred.
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Experience in social work, childcare, or working with families is an asset.
- A dependable automobile, valid driver's license, and proof of auto insurance are required.
- The ability to pass required background checks.
