Production Engineer Role Overview
This position supports the day-to-day operations of a continuous process chemical plant with reaction and distillation unit operations. The site has a strong culture of teamwork and cooperation, making it an ideal place to work.

This role reports to the Operations Manager and will work closely with him on managing the units. Key responsibilities include:
- Monitoring plant performance to troubleshoot and optimize daily production.
- Identifying capacity improvements and debottlenecking options to meet increasing demand.
- Providing process improvement suggestions to enhance operations, quality, reliability, and safety.
- Participating in plant trials and process design implementation.
- Covering maintenance of control (MOC) activities and equipment changes on the unit.
- Authoring and managing standard operating procedures (SOPs) and adjusting operating parameters.
- Collaborating with operators and technicians to gather ideas and input for process improvements.
