Pay Rate: $80,000 – $85,000 annually

Responsibilities:
- Plans, manages, and reviews the work of assigned dispatch staff for NY Core downstate and participates in the selection of assigned staff
- Provides for the training of staff in work procedures
- Evaluates performance and provides for staff discipline as required
- Develops and implements goals, objectives, policies, procedures, and work standards for the division
- Provides for the installation, upgrading, maintenance, operation, and staff training for all dispatch hardware and software
- Coordinates the dispatch services of the markets to ensure timely and efficient patient delivery to the standards set forth by Ambulnz by DocGo
- Maintains a healthy relationship with all clients
- Stays current with the EMS laws, regulations, and developments
- Prepares a variety of periodic and special reports as required
- Oversees compliant Call Taking, Dispatch and Pre-Billing functions for the assigned market
- Oversee proper completion of all Dispatch, Call Taking and Pre-Billing tasks
- Monitor and direct Dispatch staff and tasks, including remote dispatch sites
- Be available for 48 hours per week for Administrator on-call duties, including one weekend per month, to address high level customer service issues
- Develop a demand analysis and dispatch plan
- Maintain and improve customer NPS score
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
- Proven experience as a dispatcher in a relevant field
- Tech-savvy with knowledge of computer-aided dispatch software (CAD)
- Ability to type 50 words per minute with expertise in data entry
- Knowledge of procedures and guidelines for emergencies
- Proficient in English (oral and written)
- Outstanding organizational and multitasking abilities
- Active listener with excellent communication skills
- Sound judgment and critical thinking
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and able to pivot work focus as priorities shift based on the needs of the business
