Job Overview
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Mid-Level Analyst with at least four (4) years of experience and a baccalaureate in Political Science.
Provides continuous research and assessment of congressional actions, reports, and sensitive issues to identify areas of significant interest and develop courses of action to address them effectively. Supports the development and implementation of a proactive congressional engagement strategy across NAVSEA priority areas.
Desired Skills:
Strong understanding of the enactment process for defense authorization and
appropriation legislation. Working knowledge of the Navy’s PPBE process. Experience in reviewing and analyzing defense legislation for potential impacts to Navy programs and initiatives.
Experience in producing written documents for senior officials including briefing materials, legislative summaries, background papers and correspondence.
Five (5) years of experience in defense acquisition. Experience with Department of Defense programs, especially Navy and NAVSEA.

Pay: $73,624.00 - $80,000.00 per year
