Looking to hire a Drug & Alcohol Counselors in Lancaster, PA. As the Drug & Alcohol Counselor you will work with individuals and groups to promote optimum mental and emotional health. You may also help individuals deal with issues associated with additions and substance abuse; family, parenting, and marital problems; stress management; self-esteem; and aging. If you have a Master’s Degree or above from an accredited college with a major in chemical dependency, psychology, social work, counseling, or other related field which includes a practicum in a drug and alcohol setting; or a Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college with a major in chemical dependency, psychology, social work, counseling, or other related field and 1 year of clinical experience (a minimum of 1,820 hours) in a drug and alcohol setting; let's talk!!

- Bilingual and bicultural in Spanish / English highly preferable, Knowledge of and experience using ASAM criteria, strong computer skills, filing, and recordkeeping skills; ability to work independently yet is a team player; excellent customer relations; able to communicate well with diverse group of individuals; good organizational skills.
- PA Child Abuse Clearance, PA Criminal Background, FBI clearances; mandated reporter training, CADC – preferred; CPR / First AID.
