Pay rate is $30 / for for graduate student

Full-time; 37.5 hours per week

ABAs Internship provides students with a paid opportunity to work with one of the biggest trade associations in Washington, DC. This extremely selective opportunity provides students with the opportunity to do substantial work in various divisions across ABA, connect with leadership, build a network, and make a difference.

ABA Summer Internships are hybrid with at least 2 days a week in our DC office.

Please note : Internship positions are not eligible for healthcare insurance coverage.

• Key Responsibilities
• Research, analyze and develop communiques for members on potential risks associated with emerging technologies leveraged by the financial services sector (e.g. Artificial Intelligence deepfakes, call and text spoofing, crypto currency).
• Assist in the development of surveys, and compile and summarize key findings on relevant fraud issues.
• Identify new technologies that are relevant for bank fraud teams and develop summaries.
• Assist in the operation of member committees through the suggestion of agenda items, coordination of meetings, taking minutes, and providing written summaries.
• Qualifications
• Experience researching technologies and technology policy and providing analyses and summaries.
• Demonstrated ability to work independently and in group settings.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Minimum Education Requirements
• Sophomore / Junior / Senior or Graduate student with a major in Technology, Business or Communications
• Minimum 3.0 GPA
• Salary Band Range :

15.00 - $37.50 - $60.00
