Customer Loyalty Specialist

The Steve Weidenbach Agency of American Family Insurance is looking for a positive, motivated individual to join their championship team as a full time Loyalty Specialist in Ellensburg, WA.

Required Education & Experience

· High School Diploma

· Associate or Bachelor’s Degree preferred but not required

· A successful candidate must obtain property & casualty insurance licenses within

agreed time of hiring offer (30 Days) & life license (90 days from original hire date)

· A candidate does not officially start until they are licensed.

Primary Job Functions & Activities:

The Primary role of the Loyalty Specialist is to maintain our current customers. Here are a few of those activities:

Service Related:

o This role will be for customer retention including questions or concerns about:

• Brokerage & Alliances Maintenance
• Flood Insurance Management
• Agency Reputation (Online Reviews & Surveys)
• Mail Management
• Life Annual Statements

o Assist with income phone calls

o Help with billing issues and policy transactions

o Conduct Personal Insurance Reviews

o Other items to deliver outstanding customer experience

Sales Related:

o Cross-sell while assisting current customers:

• Life Insurance
• Umbrella Insurance

o Work with customers to use technology and tools that benefit them

o Follow up with customers after sales to complete the new business process

o Maintain product knowledge for all lines of business and products written

Career Paths: There are three potential career paths associated with this positionif the performance of the applicant merited progression over time:

1. Department Manager: This person would help build a service team and be responsible for team goals.

2. Storefront Manager: The Steve Weidenbach Agency will expand to other areas of the State of Washington. If you’d like to be a manager of a location, but not incur the expense or risk of agency ownership, you could be a storefront manager.

3.Future Agency Owner: If you know that you would like to run your own business with your own team but don’t believe you currently have the skills or capital this is a great path. This candidate would seek their own agency (outside of Ellensburg) after a 2 to 3 year mentorship program.

Compensation & Benefits:

· A successful candidate will make over $40,000 to $45,000 with base and bonus

• Base Salary is $34,000 to $38,000

· Employer Paid Health Insurance, Dental, Vision, Life Insurance

· Paid Volunteer Time Off (VTO)

Schedule:

· Monday through Thursday: 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM or 5:30 PM depending on lunch breaks

· Friday: 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM

· Weekend events 1 to 2 times per year
