Were looking for a Branch Jr Mortgage Processor to join our in-office team and assist in all aspects of the loan processfrom initial contact with borrowers through preparing files for underwriting. Key Responsibilities
- Facilitate Loan Applications: Help review for complete loan applications
- Document Gathering: Collect and prepare all required documents necessary for underwriting approvals, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
- File Structuring: Run DU/LP, generate closing cost worksheets, and structure loan files according to specified parameters.
- Client Communication: Act as the main point of contact for borrowers from contact to contract, addressing questions and ensuring a smooth transition to the processor for contract to close duties.
- TBD Approvals: Prepare and submit detailed, accurate application packages directly to underwriting for upfront (TBD) approvals.
- Product Knowledge: Stay current on mortgage loan products (FHA, VA, Conventional, USDA) and documentation requirements.
- Team Collaboration: Communicate daily with Senior Loan Officers, Processors, Operations staff, Realtors, and other stakeholders to keep everyone informed.
- Problem-Solving: Proactively identify and address potential loan fires to maintain a high level of customer satisfaction.
- Continuous Learning: Be a spongecontinuously seek new information and best practices to excel in your role.
- Process Improvement: Contribute ideas and feedback to help improve internal processes and procedures, ensuring we always deliver a world-class experience.
Qualifications
- Some familiarity with mortgage documents or financial services is a plus (not required).
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills to handle multiple files and deadlines efficiently.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills for interacting with borrowers, team members, and partners.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) or willingness to learn new systems quickly.
- Detail-oriented mindset with a passion for accuracy and compliance.
