Accounts Payable and Receivable Associate

Duties and Responsibilities:

Payables:

• Process, verify, and reconcile vendor invoices
• Respond to vendor payment inquiries
• Process weekly and ad hoc vendor payments
• Process daily expense reports

Receivables:

• Process and apply customer credit card payments taken over the telephone
• Process bank deposits and customer payments
• Provide customer support for inquiries related to account balances including addressing special invoices, statement requests, and providing other documentation as required
• Provide support for DSO related requests, including ad hoc statements and processing payments

• Process AO Edge program activities, including setting up customers and processing payments

• Responsible for daily review and special handling of invoices that do not auto-invoice

Other

• Complete other projects and duties as assigned to achieve business objectives
• This position will also act as the backup for the front desk receptionist during breaks and vacations

Qualifications:

• Associate degree in business or accounting and two years of related experience preferred
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Ability to handle difficult situations in a professional and efficient manner
• Must be able to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
• Experience with Microsoft Office suite of products and Microsoft NAV or ERP system preferred
