Duties & Responsibilities
- Receive, process and verify accuracy of orders from customers by phone, fax, or email by utilizing internal systems
- Provide exceptional customer service experience while effectively managing large amounts of incoming phone calls
- Resolve issues a customer may have with an order or shipment
- Keep records of customer interactions, transactions, and actions taken
- Communicate and interact effectively with internal teams to ensure an exceptional customer experience
- Maintain customer information and files
- Access and work with internal systems to provide order information, pricing and delivery information to the customers
- Assist Field Sales Representatives as required
- Follow team procedures, guidelines, and policies
- Perform additional responsibilities as requested to achieve business objectives
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 1-5 years of related experience and/or training preferred.
- Exceptional communication and customer service skills; ability to deal with emotional or difficult customer situations
- ERP system and/or data entry experience a plus; proficient in Microsoft Office suite of products
- Strong basic math skills
- Good problem solving skills with a sense of urgency in responding to customer needs
- Must be able to sit, stand, and/or walk for up to 8-10 hours per day
- Must be able to be on the phone and use a computer for extended periods of time for up to 8-10 hours per day.
- Must be able to occasionally lift up to 25 pounds.
- Must be able to work the following hours: 9:30-6pm Monday-Friday
