Project Cost Estimator

American Overhead Door and Dock Inc. currently has a position available for a commercial estimator. The position requires knowledge of commercial construction, blue print reading, Microsoft excel/spread sheets and Quick Books.

Job Description:

Responsible for processing incoming bid requests, RFP management, and proposal development.

This role will assist with submittal correspondence, issuing purchase orders, managing change orders, and other administrative tasks in support of the sales team.

Candidate Requirements:

• Must be able to read and interpret construction drawings & documents
• Must be proficient with Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook programs
• Ability to create, update, and maintain spreadsheets and documents
• Excellent math / computational skills
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
• Able to review and respond to large volumes of emails / phone calls daily
• Exhibits excellent communication skills (written & verbal) and is comfortable with professional correspondence with customers and suppliers
• Valid driver’s license in good standing

Education Requirements: Bachelor’s degree preferred, or equivalent industry work experience

• Morning shift
• Weekends as needed
