GENERAL JOB DESCRIPTION:
The Sheller Operator will work safely while handling the complete responsibility of running the sheller.
Some of the responsibilities of the sheller operator:
- Run the sheller to the maximum capacity as long as the quality is maintained
- Make repairs when breakdowns occur
- Keep downtime reduced to a minimum
- Change decks when needed
- Monitor stoners, shakers, and screens
- Keep the work area clean at all times
- Check magnets and document on proper check sheets
