At Bonell Manufacturing, a proud segment of American Roller Company, we are seeking a passionate cylindrical grinder/finishing operator for our 1st shift team.
Shift Hours: Monday through Thursday, 6:00 AM to 4:30 PM
Our valued operators receive weekly pay along with quarterly bonus incentives!
Role Overview: Dive into blueprints and job specifications to accurately grind and polish rollers to precise sizes and finishes, employing an array of machinery.
Key Responsibilities:
- Position the roller and adjust equipment settings for optimal accuracy and finish.
- Select, install, and adjust grinding media such as wheels and belts as required. Perform wheel maintenance and balancing as necessary.
- Interpretation of blueprints and specs is essential.
- Employ measuring instruments including micrometers, gauges, and much more to ensure component precision.
- Handle the operation and basic maintenance of specified machines, ensuring diligence in inspecting and replacing consumables.
- Manage operations across multiple machines when scheduled.
Preferred Qualifications:
- A minimum of five years in cylindrical grinding is preferred.
- Experience in roll grinding with crowning will be advantageous.
- Proficiency with blueprints and tight tolerances.

Required Experience:
- One year of experience in tight tolerance and cylindrical grinding.

- Proficiency in mechanical troubleshooting and setup for production
- Excellent with shop math and blueprint reading capabilities
