Job Description: We are seeking a detail-oriented, organized, and enthusiastic RV Service Writer to join our team at American RV Center. As an RV Service Writer, you will be the primary point of contact for customers in need of service and repairs for their RVs. You will work closely with our service technicians and customers to provide clear communication, ensure accurate service orders, and help maintain high levels of customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
- Greet and assist customers with service requests, addressing inquiries and concerns.
- Accurately write and create service orders, ensuring all necessary information is captured.
- Coordinate with technicians to ensure timely and efficient repair and service work.
- Provide customers with detailed estimates, including labor, parts, and other related costs.
- Keep customers updated on the progress of their RV repairs and services.
- Ensure all work orders are processed correctly and billed according to company policies.
- Maintain a high level of professionalism and customer service at all times.
- Track and manage warranty claims and documentation.
- Ensure the smooth flow of work within the service department, helping to manage the daily service schedule.
- Resolve any service-related issues or complaints to maintain customer satisfaction.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience as a Service Writer, Service Advisor, or in a similar customer service role (preferably in the automotive or RV industry).
- Knowledge of RVs, their components, and typical repairs is a plus, but not required.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to interact professionally with customers and team members.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to multi-task and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficient with computers and service management software.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including some Saturdays.
