The HR Generalist is responsible for executing clear direction and focus through integrated HR strategies that will optimize the attraction and retention of talent, while striving to be an Employer of Choice. This position reports to the Sr. HR Manager, Distribution Centers.
What Your Day Will Look Like
Drive Recruitment Efforts and Conducts Onboarding. Coordinates sourcing and interviewing for all hourly open positions at the Distribution Center/Home Delivery Center. Participates in on-site and off-site recruiting events, participates in screening, scheduling, and interviewing process. Ensures appropriate onboarding occurs. Provides weekly recruiting progress status reports. Looks for creative methods to attract/recruit new top talent for DCs and support non-exempt team member positions. Thinks “outside the box”.
Facilitates Team Member Engagement. Plans team member engagement activities and helps promote a positive work environment.
Provide HR Expertise. Serves as an HR resource to team members regarding HR policies, including benefits, employment, leaves of absences, etc.

Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree preferred; or equivalent combination of education and experience
- 3-5 years of experience as an HR Generalist
- Excellent communication skills both written and verbal.

- Proficient with Microsoft Office PowerPoint, Excel, and Word software programs
- Distribution, Delivery or Manufacturing experience preferred.
- Track record of servant leadership; serving others and putting team goals first
- Proactive approach; identifies and solves problems

- Ability to break down complex ideas and communicate them in simple and easy to understand ways.
