Radiology Technologist Responsibilities:
- Take images of patients' bodies using MRIs, ultrasounds, and x-rays to help physicians diagnose and treat patients.
- Work under the supervision of a physician.
- Prepare patients prior to their tests and explain the process in a manner that puts patients at ease.
- Work in a variety of settings, including hospitals, outpatient clinics, health centers, and medical labs.
Radiologic Technologist Qualifications:
- 1 year of recent experience in this setting.
- Valid professional license or registration if required by this state.
- Valid Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association (AHA).
- Valid Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification through AHA recommended and may be required.
