Overview:
The Fleet Specialist will work collaboratively with operations and operations support teams to identify and implement solutions and opportunities to streamline processes, monitoring and maintenance of our light duty fleet at AWS.
Responsibilities:
- Coordinate the servicing and maintenance of the fleet assets
- Document vehicle assignments for all personnel requiring a light duty vehicle
- Coordinate all in-fleeting activities including, but not limited to, timely new vehicle acceptance, installations of tags and other necessary requirements to prepare vehicle for field use.
- Coordinate all de-fleeting activities, including, but not limited to, timely inspections, plate removal, and movement of vehicles to support disposal of aging inventory
- Tracking and coordination of registrations
- Manage insurance claim process for vehicle incidents
- Generate various reports related to assets and inventory metrics
- Conduct routine inventory audits
- Monitoring and oversight of the GPS system (Geotab)
- Performs other duties as assigned by Supervisor
Experience/Qualifications:
- Minimum of two (2) years in a fleet role/transportation/or asset management role
- Working knowledge and experience in automotive parts applications
- Advanced computer skills, including MS Office
- Ability to learn internal maintenance and purchasing system
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently
- Able to multi-task in fast paced environment
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Valid driver’s license with clean driving record
- Ability to communicate, read & write in English
- Ability to clear/pass pre-employment screening, testing and job-relevant hiring requirements
