Renewable Inside Sales Associate

Our management team is led by industry veterans with decades of wire and cable experience in sales, manufacturing, distribution, engineering, and marketing.
Our growing sales team is seeking a motivated and results-driven individual with a passion for sales. The ISA will support the sales team by preparing customer quotations and bid documents, processing customer requests, answering and directing customer questions and technical support, and responding to customer inquiries. This will also include assisting Project Managers with maintenance and updates to project schedules.
Core Responsibilities:
The ISA will:
- Develops and maintains relationships with potential and existing clients in the technical and scientific wholesale and manufacturing fields.
- Identifies and locates new clients through a variety of methods including networking and cold calls.
- Develops and implements strategies for sales in an assigned region or industry.
- Applies knowledge of the field and product features to match products to the needs of clients.
- Answers inquiries from clients concerning products, their uses, and the industry at large.
- Provides information, quotes, credit terms, and other bid specifications to clients.
- Negotiates prices, terms of sales, and/or service agreements; prepares contracts and submits orders.
- Collaborates with purchasing departments, managers, and other staff to confirm that orders are processed with accuracy and efficiency and that products are distributed properly.
- Periodically prepares and reports results, status of accounts, and leads to manager.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
- Supports the sales team with the processing of customer documents (quotes, purchase orders etc.)
- Supports sales team with processing of vendor documents
- Supports the project team with data entry and extraction.
- Provides data entry and extraction from ERP and Microsoft Office to deliver reports and analysis as instructed
- Retrieves information as requested from records, email, minutes, and other related documentation; prepares written summaries of data when needed
- Works with existing accounts while simultaneously generating new leads
Qualifications:
- Excellent verbal and written communication and negotiation skills.
- Maintain excellent daily performance, with punctuality and accuracy.
- Thorough understanding of technical or scientific products to be sold.
- Organized with attention to detail.
- Proven ability to build and maintain relationships with clients.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
- Associates or Bachelor’s degree required
- Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
- Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.
- 3-6 Weeks Travel to meet with clients or potential clients may be required on occasion
- Sales Experience: 1 year (Preferred)
- Driver's License (Required)
- US work authorization (Required)
