We are seeking an experienced and motivated Warehouse Manager to lead our dynamic team at a 330,000-square-foot distribution center near Harrisburg, PA. This position is ideal for a proven leader eager to drive results, exceed expectations, and create a culture of safety and excellence.
Core Responsibilities
Team Leadership:
- Recruit, train, develop, and retain 30 high-performing team members.
- Foster a culture of two-way communication to inform, motivate, and recognize team excellence.
- Build strong relationships with associates, customers, and internal departments.
Operations:
- Oversee daily tasks in receiving, processing, picking, packing, and shipping to meet customer and company standards.
- Drive operational improvements, including inventory accuracy and efficiency.
- Maintain a safe, professional, and efficient facility, including building and grounds.
- Collaborate with other facilities to share best practices and optimize resources.
Safety and Compliance:
- Cultivate a safety-first culture through personal example and proactive measures.
- Identify and resolve unsafe conditions, behaviors, or processes.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory agencies and company policies.
- Develop and assess safety improvement plans to minimize incidents.
Growth and Customer Experience:
- Identify opportunities for continuous improvement and challenge the status quo.
- Track and document the value delivered to customers through operational excellence.
- Leverage metrics to improve customer efficiency and cost savings.
Qualifications
Education:
- High School diploma required
- Bachelor's degree in Business or Supply Chain Management preferred.
Experience:
- Minimum of 3 years managing warehouse teams in a distribution environment.
- Minimum of 7years in a warehouse or distribution environment
- Minimum 3 years forklift experience
Skills:
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Experience with ERP systems required (Microsoft D365 preferred).
- Strong leadership, decision-making, and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and time management skills.
- Ability to manage budgets and drive process improvements.
- Commitment to fostering a culture of safety and excellence.
- Team building and collaboration, fostering a positive work environment
Physical Requirements: Ability to lift and move materials as needed, up to 50lbs.
