Responsibilities:
Effectively facilitates training and development activities for varied topics to all levels of the organization, demonstrating knowledge of adult learning principles and adjusting teaching style to meet the needs of students. Maintains professionalism, poise and clarity when challenged in the classroom.
- Conduct classroom and virtual training, using established curriculums.
- Schedule regular pre-training meetings with business units.
- Monitor post training quality for all new hires & intervene as needed with leaders.
- Observe and report performance issues to business leaders.
- Follow proven facilitation models to facilitate training.
- Evaluates associates’ knowledge, skill and aptitude (KSA) in training and develops a process to coach performance to meet/exceed standards.
- Works quickly and effectively on assigned projects, and organizes and prioritizes work to meet tight deadlines.
- Collaborates and communicates effectively with team members, subject matter experts and all levels of leadership to continually create new, and update existing, training programs.
- Prepares lesson plans relevant to training material.
- Analyzes comfort level assessments and end of course evaluations in order to judge effectiveness of training sessions and identify trends to implement suggestions for improvements.
- Responds quickly and positively to ad hoc requests, feedback, scope changes, and a fluctuating and dynamic work environment.
- Document employee training attendance for all Training sessions and maintain readily retrievable records according to record retention schedule policy.
- Maintain proficiency in all Lines of Business (LOB) supported by Operations Training through regular engagement with appropriate operations personnel.
- Identify, document and report all content/system issues observed with relevant software, including but not limited to: OnLine Help, Facets, IAD, etc.
- Up to 25% Travel is required.
Education/Experience:
- Associate’s Degree
- Bachelor’s Degree preferred
- 1 to 3 years of experience in a learning environment preferred
- Strong written and verbal communication
- Classroom management skills
- Leadership ability
- Instructional Design skills (for lesson planning)
- Strong MS PowerPoint and Excel skills
- Strong collaboration skills/teamwork
- Decision making skills
