Job Purpose
The Inside Sales Representative position focuses on driving sales growth through customer outreach, relationship-building, and product expertise.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Address customer inquiries and provide accurate information about products, pricing, and capabilities.
- Address and/or escalate complaints and concerns quickly and effectively.
- Manage and nurture relationships with existing accounts, ensuring customer satisfaction and loyalty.
- Conduct regular follow-ups with existing clients to identify new needs.
- Collaborate with the production and logistics teams to ensure smooth order processing, timely deliveries, and order accuracy.
- Prepare and send quotes to customers, follow up on orders, and ensure all necessary documentation is completed.
- Ensure proper order fulfillment by working closely with the quality and logistics teams.
- Track sales activities and customer interactions in CRM software to ensure accurate reporting.
- Review and updated finished goods inventory to ensure accuracy.
- Prepare sales forecasts, track performance against targets, and analyze sales data to improve strategies.
- Participate in meetings to provide feedback from customers, identify product improvement areas, and help develop new strategies.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent. AS/BS degree preferred.
- 2 years of experience in customer service, preferably in manufacturing or related industry.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to interact professionally with customers and internal teams.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).
- Experience with order management and CRM software.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
- A positive, proactive attitude and a passion for delivering exceptional customer service.
Physical Requirements
While performing the duties of this job, employees are regularly required to sit, walk and stand; Specific vision abilities include close vision, distance vision and the ability to adjust focus; talk or hear, both in person and by telephone; use hands repetitively to operate standard office equipment; reach with hands and arms. Position will frequent the production floor, so operating in standard seasonal warehouse and food processing plant temperature conditions will be required. Work is completed in a facility where nuts, fruits and other allergens are present.
