Mauer Animal Clinic is a long-standing general practice with deep ties to the community, located in beautiful Las Vegas, Nevada. Our goal is to provide compassionate and quality medicine while striving to make an impact in our community and treat our patients/clients like family.

Here at Mauer Animal Clinic, we are focused on the ultimate client and patient experience. With more than 30 years of experience, we have made it our mission to provide the gold standard of care to every patient who walks through our door and to make every client feel at home! We are a general practice facility that sees both canine and feline patients for wellness and sick care, including surgery, radiographs, ultrasound, lab tests, and more!

Our ideal candidate will have open availability, excellent time management skills as well as being able to work in a team. Duties will include assisting in rooms with doctors, drawing blood and running labs, filling meds and administering medications, feeding/watering/cleaning patients., etc.

Experience preferred but not required. Must be able to work weekends.

Requirements

• 1 years of Clinical Veterinary Experience
• Knowledge of industry tools and equipment
• Passion for working with pets and their owners
• Understands the importance of excellent communication and organizational skills
• Skills with: Blood draws, Placing IV catheters, Digital radiology including positioning, Dentistry, Anesthesia & Laboratory skills such as ear and fecal cytology; HM5; Vetscan; and Sedivue are Highly Preferred!
