Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and professional Front Desk Agent to join our hospitality team. The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for guests, providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a welcoming atmosphere. This role requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and a passion for delivering outstanding guest experiences. The Front Desk Agent will also assist with housekeeping management and maintain cleanliness standards throughout the hotel.
Duties
- Greet and check in guests upon arrival, ensuring a smooth and efficient process.
- Handle guest inquiries and provide information about hotel services, amenities, and local attractions.
- Manage reservations, including modifications and cancellations, using the hotel management system.
- Coordinate with housekeeping staff to ensure rooms are clean and ready for guests.
- Address guest complaints or concerns promptly and professionally to ensure satisfaction.
- Maintain the cleanliness of the front desk area and lobby, adhering to high standards of hospitality.
- Assist with administrative tasks such as filing, data entry, and record keeping as needed.
- Collaborate with other departments to enhance guest experiences and streamline operations.
Requirements
- Previous experience in a hotel or hospitality environment is preferred.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced setting.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with a friendly demeanor.
- Knowledge of housekeeping management practices is a plus.
- Familiarity with industrial cleaning or custodial services is beneficial for maintaining hotel standards.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays as required.
